Prospective Graduate Students We are looking for motivated Ph.D. students with backgrounds in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or computer science to join the team! Over the course of their time in the CARA lab, students will become experts in topics such as nonlinear control theory, machine learning for robotics and control, optimization-based control, and others. Please apply through the Rice Mechanical Engineering Graduate Program and mention Prof. Davydov in your application. Eligible potential students are also highly encouraged to apply for prestigious external fellowships such as the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and the NDSEG. |
